Wallands Community Primary School Uniform
All children are expected to wear full school uniform every day unless previously agreed for special days. The uniform consists of:
• Grey or black shorts, trousers, pinafore dresses, skirts or green and white summer dresses
• White polo shirt or shirt
• Green sweatshirt, jumper, cardigan or fleece
• Sensible, smart dark coloured footwear including boots, shoes should be flat/low heeled shoes or boots, sandals are allowed in the summer, but no flip-flops or crocs.
White polo shirts, green sweatshirts, green cardigans and green fleeces with the Wallands School logo may be ordered from the school office using the order form below. A Wallands Nursery sweatshirt is also available to order. All uniform can be generic and items do not have to have the school logo.
The PE uniform consists of:
Plain green t-shirts and black shorts, when the weather is colder, children should bring black leggings, jogging bottoms or track suit bottoms.
Sun hats (or other suitable hats) are essential in very hot weather. School winter hats are available from school.
Book bags and PE bags can also be purchased from school at a cost of £6.50 each.
School and PE uniform can be purchased from the school office, Intersport on Cliffe High Street in Lewes, alternatively items can be bought online from Amazon or eBay.
The school office has a number of second hand items available for parents/carers.
The only jewellery which is allowed is stud earrings for health and safety reasons (these must be removed or taped during PE lessons). We do not allow children to wear make-up to school.
